W2K Pro Crashes when reconnecting removable USB media

My Olympus Digi Camera shows up as a removable drive ok
when I first connect it. If I remove it then reconnect it.
It crashes on the SECOND connect. I have s dual boot on my
PC so I tried the same hardware (PC,USB,CAM,cable,etc)
under windows 98 and I can disconnect and reconnect the
usb over and over with NO crashes. I took the camera to my
PC @ work (also W2K) and it crashes too. It looks like it
is a BUG in Windows 2000 Pro. It doesn't matter if I
dismount the removable media or not either.

Please email any help.

is a BUG in Windows 2000 Pro.

It's a bug in the driver, not letting itself be properly unloaded.

If its the driver then its a problem with BOTH drivers;
the one provided WITH W2K and Olympus. What's the odds
that both sources have the same bug?
