W2K Pagefile

I'm having a problem with the pagefile on my Windows 2000
Profession system.

When the machine boot it gives an error saying windows has
created a temporary pagefile of only 20MB

I've tried to increase the size, to receommended 190MB (my
computer / properties / advanced / performace / change /
set etc)but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Every
time I restart the machine I still get the error above.

Any idea's???

Set it to 0 min. 0 max. and reboot. This will delete the pagefile.sys (in case it is corrupted) from your drive. Then try to set
it to 190.

Rob - yep hitting set, but getting nowhere
There's 4GB free on C drive - I've vene looked at de-
fragging to see if it was a contiguouse space issue

BT - I'll try setting to zero and then re-creating and
see what happens. Thanks
