VueScan -- What is Fujicolor II?

That happens to be the negative film I am trying to scan. VueScan
offers NHG, NPS, Reala, SHR, Super G, Super HG and Super HR. Assuming
II is none of the above, which is likely to be closest?

Most VueScan users seem to agree that it's better to use 'Generic' for
any type of film, and to apply the 'advanced workflow suggestions' from
the VueScan manual to characterize the specific orange mask of the film
you're using.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try.
