VPN Cisco

J

Jason

i have recently installed a cisco pix firewall that will
handle all my vpn connections. However, it is not working
at the moment. So i thought while i was working on it i
would just throw the old 2000 server back in for vpn.
Well, since i used the same IP for the pix firewall vpn
connection, i had to change the ip on the 2000 box. Now i
can't get a vpn connection to it. Only if i unplug the
Pix, and change ip back to old address will it work. And
this won't work cause then i loose all internet connection
for my network. I'm sure it is something simple. Any
ideas or comments would be great.

Thanks

Jason

I am not sure what's the problem. Assuming, PIX works fine for the internet
access but not VPN, you may have three options to setup VPN. 1) setup Cisco
VPN 3000 group for using Cisco client software; 2) setup vpdn group for
windows vpn client; 3) redirect the ports to w2k server and use windows vpn
client.
