volume control

I just bought a new keyboard and I can't get the volume control or mute to
work on it. It's a Logitech that said on the box it was Vista compatible.
When I open the volume mixer window it shows that it recognizes the keyboard
but nothing happens when I try to adjust the volume with the keyboard.

I have an HP/Microsoft muti media keyboard. My up & down volume keys only
work while in the Media Ctr. part of my PC. The k-board needs drivers to
communicate with the other PC parts. This afternoon a Microsoft tech is
calling me to resolve the issue. In the meantime go the Logitech web site and
look for Vista updates/d-loads for your model. I would also call them if you
are unsuccessful. If all else fails take the k-board back & wait a little
longer. You could buy a Microsoft K-board & mouse. They will give you free
tech support for 60 days I believe.

BTW, My wireless mouse & k-board function perfectly except for the volume
keys.
