Visual C++ Runtime error

Whenever I open Internet Explorer, no page gets
displayed. When I close IE, I get the following message:

Runtime Error!
Program:C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe
R6025
-pure virtual function call

*Note: the slashes are forward slashes, not backward
slashes (backward slashes are in the address above).

If anybody could help me with this problem, I would be
very grateful.

Which program is working when you close IE?
That type of error is a programming error.

Run MSCONFIG from the start/run applet and look under StartUp tab.

Anything started that you are not aware.
