Runtime Error aaarrrggghhh!

A. L.

I use earthlink and windows xp.....just about every time I
try to browse the Internet, I get an error message that
looks like this:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program:C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
R6025
-pure virtual function call
ok

When I click ok, my Internet page disappears and it takes
me right back to my desktop. Then, I have to click on the
Internet Explorer icon all over again to get back on the
Internet. Does anyone have a clue what I can do to fix
this aggravating problem? Thanks!
