Vista Windows Mail Rules and Manual Sorting

I want to sort most all my mail into folders.
The Message Rules appears to work well when moving messages to folders.
The only issue is it might work too well.
If I manually move a message from the inbox into a folder and then rerun the
rules it takes the file and moves it back to the inbox.
Creating a rule for each email will be impossible to keep up with.

The rules normally run only on the Inbox.

If you manually run the rules, you can select which rules to run, and tell
it which folder to apply them to.
I've never seen it move a message back to the Inbox.

Okay Dave,
Maybe I accidently didn't run the rules on my inbox.

THANKS !!

Make sure each rule that moves messages has Stop processing more rules as
one of the actions. For example:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the message is from the mail.fjsmjs.com account
Move it to the fjsmjs folder
and Stop processing more rules
