Hi,

Sorry if I am posting at the wrong spot.

I hear other people saying they can install and run BDS2006 on Vista x64. I
just fresh installed both Vista Ultimate x64 and BDS 2006 with no problems.
But when I try to open BDS, I get the following error:

After loading rave reports, i see this on the splash screen:

loading assembly Borland.Studio.StarTeam.dll

Followed an OS error message like:

Is there a fix/workaround for this?

Hi,

Delphi 2007 is made for Vista, and creates Vista compatible apps. I haven't
heard if BDS 2006
runs on Vista, but the apps are not Vista compatible, and require a lot of
work to make them
Vista compatible. Delphi 2007 is a non-breaking release, so you won't need
to update any of
your componets to use it.
