Vista Ultimate OEM

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could clarify how OEM works which comes with new
PC's.

Say later for example if say your hard drive dies can you install the OEM
which you have on disk to a new hard drive?

Just I have heard that you may need to ring up Microsoft explaining what has
happened? I'm just wondering because all new PC's generally come with an OEM
version rather than retail I've noticed.

Yep.

Yep, likely. But it's okay. They'll believe you! Seriously... it's no
problem. The installation screen will prompt you with the correct 24/7
telephone number if you need to call in.
