Vista says my product key is already in use??!?!

I dont know whats wrong. I was using just using my pc when the OS starts
automatic activation over the internet, but it fails and tells me that my
product key is already in use. Now its giving me 30days to activate windows.
Whats weird is I already had activated it before. Now its telling me to
activate again except this time it tells me that my key is in use, whats
weird is this is the only computer I have used the Vista upgrade on and its a
true genuine copy purchased and downloaded from the microsoft vista website.
Any help?

Hi,

While I'm not sure why Vista would prompt you to activate the same
installation again, barring any major hardware changes, the telephone
activation option should work for you

Driver update, most likely. While Microsoft has said they relaxed some of
the activation requirements on Vista, that relaxation appears only to occur
with a phone call to India. It's all part of Microsoft's Full Employment
initiative in India.

This is going to sound like a screwy solution Ed, but this has been working
with Office Activation doing the same thing. Boot into safe mode and
activate it one more time via the web there.

If that doesn't do the trick, call MSFt at 1-800-936-5700 and ask them to
connect you with phone activation and see if they can fix this on their end.

Hi,

When phone activation doesn't work, you are connected to speak with a human,
who should be able to help you activate at no cost. I've done it before and
it doesn't take much time
