vista outlook 2007 rules limitation

In older outlook express rules you are able to designate a "Where the From
line contains" with an address with only "@domainname.com" - leaving off the
left side of the email address which allows you to only have 1 entry for this
rule and get all messages from the same domain name to follow your rule - in
vista outlook when you try to do this it tells you outlook does not recognize
the address. This is a problem because if you do communicate with a large
organization that has potential correspondents who you have yet to receive a
message from any new correspndent's message will not be moved to the
designated folder that you have set up the rule for because vista outlook
requires you to give a complete and specific email address (ie
(e-mail address removed)) for the "Where the From line contains" part of the
rule. I have tried to make the left side of the address "*.*" or "*" and
outlook still says it does not reconize the address.
Does anyone know a way to get outlook to allow you to give an address that
will recognize any and all email addresses from the same domain name ie
@domainname.com

Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express? See help, about if unsure.

Outlook does support '@domain.com' - when the check names screen comes up,
cancel it.
