Vista, Outlook 2003 and Pocket PC

I recently upgraded my stand alone PC from XP Home to Vista Home Priemium.
Before Vista would install, it forced me to uninstall Active Sync. At the
time I thought "great! the sync with my windows mobile device is native to
the O/S!"

After pharting around my spiffy new Vista install for a couple of days, I'm
at a loss as to how I can sync my Outlook with the Pocket P.C. phone. In
attempts to set up a new relationship with the device, it only launches
Windows Media Player for sync options.

I've been to the Vista website, but must be really bad at selecting
keywords, ad I can't find any information.

Thanks in advance to anyone who may know what I need to do.

You need Windows Mobile Device Center ( the replacement for the
ActiveSync application ).

I have installed the center and now things are back to normal!

I'll continue to read this group, and look forward to the time where I can
contribute to solving someone else's woes!
