Vista issues !!

I was happy when I moved to Vista but could not understand why MS
takes a step back, namely:

1. Why would they remove all the useful buttons from Explorer like,
Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete. You have Map drive but no DELETE??? which
do you use more often? Yes you can use the keyboard but why take your
hand off the mouse if you dont have to. What happened to Customize
button bar?
2. What the heck is the deal with Organize? You have the same
functions under Edit. Why cant they provide a button to make New
Folder ? That is the most needed feature in Explorer.
3. Why does my laptop simply shuts down without warning, no sound, no
popup nothing. Yes i changed the Low battery notification. Still no
avail.
4. Startup: totally blank screen ! Where is the progress bar?
5. Shutdown: totally blank screen ! Where is the progess bar?
6. What happened to Webcam application. How am I going to test/adjust
my webcam? What if I want to take a picture? In control panel there
is Scanners and Cameras but nothing in it !! These were all right
there in XP...WTF???

I hope all these are fixed in SP1. If not I am going back to good ol
XP !!!

Are you talking about Windows Explorer? Cut, copy, paste and delete are
still there. Just click on "Organize" or the down arrow beside it. "New
Folder" is the first there. I didn't go any further on your list of
complaints.

No buttons, but you can press Ctrl and bring up temporally the old File
menus
If you want them permentally, select Organize then Layout and check Menu Bar

2. What the heck is the deal with Organize? You have the same

Yes the same, but under organize there are more options than under Edit.
I agree the buttons where a needed feature and I do miss that. Quickest
way now is select Organize then select New Folder. Not sure why the buttons
are not in Explorer but show up when you download something which looks
like Explorer.
3. Why does my laptop simply shuts down without warning, no sound, no

Can't help you there.

4. Startup: totally blank screen ! Where is the progress bar?

Is it really needed? Ever see that commercial, you will get to
the Internet when you get to the Internet? :>)

5. Shutdown: totally blank screen ! Where is the progess bar?

Same as above :>)
6. What happened to Webcam application. How am I going to test/adjust
my webcam? What if I want to take a picture? In control panel there

Can't help here either, never used one.

Ah come on, just have more patience and learn the system. It's
different than all others, but give yourself time and you will be
pleased with it just as you did with XP.

How is a service pack going to teach you to use a new OS? Or fix a
hardware defect (the abrupt shut downs)?

How is that the same as XP ??? !! Where are the "cut, copy, paste,

happened to customize toolbar?..I am not stupid and I have been using
PC since the day they were invented. If you think you are so smart
then how come there are millions of people out there who hate the new
look of Vista? I have a right to whine if there is a need for it. If
you are here to help then then do it without insulting.

Millions? And none of them thought to look at a screen shot, read a magazine
or see it at work on the shop floor?
What a crazy world we live in!
