Vista file compression

Hi,
I have been trying to compress a video file (only 2 mins) using the right
click send to compressed folder option- this all seems ok and the compression
progress goes right down to 0% but never actually finishes, when you click
the cross it thinks you have cancelled the request so back to square 1. Any
advice?

In short, don't bother. Unless your video is completely uncompressed to
begin with, NTFS compression won't do any good.

Use something designed to compress video specifically if you want any
sort of real compression level.
