Vista does not recognise my DVD Drive no more!

Vista has been installed for about a week on my PC and it randomly will not
acknowledge my DVD drive no more at all. It says that the driver instaled
corretcly but is corrupt. I have not done anything that would have affected
it. Anybody got any ideas about what to do?

Power down your system and then disconnect the drive.. reboot.. power down
once again, and reconnect your drive.. on the next boot, it should
reappear..
