Vista Default Printer - Defaults

I have 2 printers an Epson 880 and a Epson RX700, I have setup the 880
as the default system printer however whenever I shut down and do some
work back in XP and come back to Vista it has reset the default printer
back to MS XPS Document Writer is this a known bug or am I missing
something here., it also does it if I just close down Vista for the
night and restart the next day or do a restart for some reason . XP
always maintains the default printer that has been set regardless of
what I do.

I have seen other post mentioning this. My solution, I have Office 2007 Beta
loaded, I am able to change the default in Office and it holds when I reboot.

My solution no longer works. After a few reboots and days, it now defaults
back to what it wants.

Someone has suggested that it defaults to the last printer, so the solution
is to rename what you want the default by putting a 'Z' at the begining of
the printer name to force it to be last.

Hopefully, this will work.

I have submitted a trouble report on this because I am also having the same
problem. Hopefully, Microsoft will correct it before the RTM release.

So I am not the only one seeing this. Good to know. Now, how do you change
the default printer from within Office??
