Universal Printer Driver

Hi,

I am looking for a free universal printer driver that runs under
Windows Vista, 32 bit

The driver must support Lexmark's Z2300 series

MS XPS Document Writer is installed as default.

Are any of the other drivers listed in Vista that are suitable as
universal?

ps. Can a printer be damaged by using 'the wrong' driver. Or is it
just a case of it will, or will not, work?

If Lexmark do not have a driver, you are out in the cold. The Lexmark site
has a utility where it can automatically detect what printer you have and
install the appropriate driver.

If the above does not work, buy yourself a replacement..

Why does it need to be a universal printer driver? How about a printer
driver for YOUR printer? Anything wrong with that?
