Ok, by default Vista does not install the telnet client so I did that. I
used to be able to telnet out of Windows XP via the telnet: browser command.
This does not work anymore, it seems. I have to launch the telnet client
explicitly, and issue an open for the ip address.
I log on to my public library's catalog system via telnet. Can someone tell
me if I could put an icon on my Vista desktop to automatically feed the IP
address to the telnet program and open the address, how do I do this?
Thanks.
