Virus laden site

They are all viruses. They are unsolicited maliciously-created entities.

You two should have posted this to alt.comp.unsolicited_maliciously-created_entities then.
If everybody is allowed to redefine terms to their own convenience we build tower of babble. What used to be a virus
is no longer and what wasn't now is - geeeeezz Louise.

Well, that comes from the fact that ACV accumulates a number of
posters passing through that know little to nothing about viruses. The
OP would be as good as example of it.

That is what we used to call a "cop out". You choose to ignore information and accuse the sender of pedantry.

Adherence to the accepted definition(s) of the term "computer virus" is neither abitrary nor trivial. Viruses can be a certain
sort of "malware" (which your definition more closely resembles aside from the "unsolicited" part - what possible difference
does it make if it was or wasn't requested?).

Go to alt.pets.ferrets and post a cat related url under the subject line "Ferret laden site" and see if they are pedant too. :)

Bonroy! been awhile since I visited acv. I see we have a whole new bunch
of newbies to find annoying. How the hell have you been?

A.C.V is across the hall and two doors down....listen for someone called Laura laughing at someone named Sugien who
isn't even there.

Visit the russian site with IE6, nothing out of the ordinary happened.

What did you expect to happen, and how do you check whether it had or not?
