virtual memory

I am not very computer smart so I need help. I keep
getting a pop up window saying I don't have enough virtual
memory. I had to have my hardrive replace a few months
ago and that is when I began getting this message. What
can I do to fix it.

You most probably need to add more RAM. You can see what is the current
usage with the Task Manager. Ctrl+alt+Del , select Task Manager and look at
the Performance tab.

You can also change the Virtual Memory setting: right click on My Computer,
click on the Advanced tab, click on Settings (Performance) and then click on
the Advanced tab again. at the bottom you have the virtual memory settings:
click on Change and increase the value: either let the system manage it or
set it at around twice the ram you have.
