virtual memory on recovery partition?

S

Stan Benner

may be a stupid question.....
is it safe to use the remaining space on my recovery partition (D:) as a
paging file for virtual memory, and set the standard partition (C:) with no
paging file/virtual memory? with windows managed paging file on C: is set to
719 mb, on D: I have 761 mb free.
thanks....Stan

You don't want to put your swap file on a different partition
on the same drive. It will hinder performance due to increased seek time.
