Yeah they been around for a while. Not as yet experienced the viewing of the sets as yet tho.

I think they need to incorporate an input aswell, that would make them a lot more fun

It is less than 1MP resolution, so I can't imagine it being too good quality. It looks like a nice gadget, but I don't think it would beat the real thing :)

There are some high quality LCD glasses, but they cost closer to £1000 for anything decent :eek:

I read an article once about how these devices can cause bad eye strain.
You are focussing at something which is less than one inch away from your eyes, but the perception is that you are viewing something much further away. I think they are more of a gimmick, as opposed to a portable 43" TV!

To be fair, I've never tried them myself.

I understand they can also cause motion sickness too, something to do with being able to see out the side of them....
