Vinyl to CD

A friend has just converted some old records to cd.
Just been listening (should i admit this) to the music Jan Hammer did for Miami Vice.
Also a few old records from the collection NOW 1 & 2.
And the album Bruce Willis did (yes really he did sing on an album!)

Did you enjoy the Jan Hammer CD? I liked the Miami Vice sounds a lot Was Bruce Willis any good? I remember that he made an album, but don't recall ever hearing him sing

My goodness, how my hardware has changed since then...

I have about 80 vinyl albums and around 1100 vinyl singles on CD now, I've just about finished with the singles collection (and the ones I've recorded form about a quarter of the total) but still recording albums.

Currently transferring Metallica's 'Ride The Lightning'.

It's quite odd playing back a CD and hearing vinyl surface noises

Will probably be unloading my entire vinyl collection soon, it's taking up too much space.
