viewing urls in status bar when mousing over links

Have a customer who likes to see urls showing while
mousing over links in web pages. However she is only
seeing a shortcut status as index.cfm. Question: Is
there a way to customize the status bar to display this
information?

Tools | Internet Options | Advanced
Uncheck Show friendly URLs.
