viewing recipents in BCC

Hi, I am using Microsoft outlook 2000 ver 9. I need some help with the BCC
field. After filling in the recipients in the BCC field and sending the mail,
in the sent items, when I open the same message, it shows me all the fileds
viz. From, To, CC, BCC, Subject. Is there a way in which I can disable the
BCC header from the sent message? Also can I apply this setting to all the
messages in the sent items?

Note that the BCC is for your reference only; it doesn't show on the
recipients end.

Why do you want to hide this info from yourself?

While the OP's reasons may be different, one reason for me would be keep
the BCC recipient list out of backups made of the sent email folder,
which admin/others might have access to.

Being an admin indeed means that you have access to pretty much everything
but that doesn't mean that they are allowed to read and do everything.
Contact your manager if you feel you can't trust your admin.

Note that hiding information isn't the same as removing information. Also,
if they really want to monitor your mail behavior they don't do that on
client level but at server level. Bcc or not; it is still the mail server
that sends the mail onto the Internet.
