Viewing 'My Network Places' in XP Pro....

Any idea why don't I view the network drives or SharedDocs in
'My Network Places' ? Although I can view all workgroup
computers under 'view workgroup computers'. I have tried
several times refreshing the page 'My Network Places', but no
changes. All I see is a blank page.

Is there a special way to refresh or update the
'My Network Places' page or I have to re-load the
XP Professional? Help please.

In My Network Places, click Tools | Folder Options | View and put a
check mark next to "Automatically search for network folders and
printers".

Make sure that the Computer Browser service is running:

1. Right click My Computer, and click Manage.
2. Double click Services and Applications.
3. Double click Services.
4. Double click Computer Browser. If the Service status is Stopped,
click Start.
5. Set the Startup type to Automatic.

Then, wait an hour or so to see if the desired shares appear. If they
don't, you can manually create a shortcut to a desired network share:
click "Add a network place" and follow the prompts.

I have tried your first suggestion. The settings were set as
you suggested. Still I did reset and updated as per your
advice. I waited about three hours. Still I didn't get other
pcs on 'My Network Places'.
I have tried your second suggestion, and it does work.
