Steve
I have often used a function called "view source" which
is available by right-clicking on a web page, and
selecting "view source" from the menu. (it is also
available by clicking on the "view" menu on the top of
the window, and selecting "view source" from that menu).
This used to open a new window into notepad.exe, which
contained all the .html from the webpage. This would
assist in locating bad weblinks and so forth. However,
this function now appears to just open a new "windows
explorer" window. This seems to have coincided with a
recent "Windows Update" that I allowed to download into
my Windows XP (home) system, though it could be
coincidental that I only noticed this change now. If
anyone has any suggestions with how to restore the "view
source" function to open into "notepad" instead of simply
opening another instance of a Windows Epxlorer browser
window, that would be most excellent. Thank you.
