View Resource Calendar

I just setup 3 resource rooms so we can schedule their usage. How can I
publish their calendars so that the employees can look at what times are
available WITHOUT having to schedule it first just to see if it will decline
it?

Thanks,
Jasper

I thought you should be able to see that by default, for 2 months...you
cannot? has anyone logged onto those mailboxes? you might need to do that,
first...

Where do you see it? You can see it if you make a new appointment and add
the resource to the attendee list. However, I would like users to be able
to view the resource calendar without having to create a appointment. Is
this possible?

Thanks,
Jasper

oh, I see...i misunderstood you...to allow users to see that, you'd need to
grant everyone "reviewer" access, and they could look by going to
"Calendars" in Outlook, and selecting "Open a Shared Calendar" and
specifying the correct one...why don't you want them to have to open a
meeting request? that's the simplest/easiest way...

This is really a client issue, not an Exchange issue :)

Assuming the client is Outlook, have the users do a File ... Open ... Other
User's Folder and open the resource calendar.

OR, add the calendar in Calendar view by clicking "Open a Shared Calendar"
<- OL2007 for sure, am too old and lost too many brain cells to rember previous
versions :)

I was going to suggest he set them all as at least "reviewer" too, but I
assumed they all have at least contributer since he mentioned that he doesn't
want them to have to create a new appointment to see the calendar :)

Of course, you know what happens when you assume something ;)

Is it possible to add the resource calendar in the public folders?

Thanks,
Jasper
