Video problems

every time i try stream a video on the internet or view it on window media
player i always get an error messge that says "internet explorer has
encountered a proplem and needs to shut down". does any one know how to solve
this problem and the code i got was oxc0000005.

I've just become a member of this group because I have the identical problem
as you do. I hope someone can give us an answer because I simply can't view
videos. If a video is running on a website (my local newspaper's) and I can't
shut it down, then IE6 gives me the error message and shuts down.

First thing I would try would be to reinstall WMP - that is a "general"
error code.
