Video Capture Problems

This is a long story but I'll try to make it brief. I used to capture using
an AIW Radeon (no numbers, that's how old it was) with the following
configuration:

Shuttle M/B
Athlon XP 1600+
40 GB HD
256 MB DDR 2100

For Christmas I finally decided to upgrade to:

Gigabyte 7NNXP
Athlon XP 2500+
260 GB Segate SATA RAID configuration
512 MB DDR 400
AIW Radeon 9600 Pro (128 MB)

The machine works great but everty time I try to capture video, whether
using Presto works or Windows Movie Maker, I get an "unknown error". Presto
says "unable to connect" even though it see the WDM Rage Theater device.

Any suggestions? I replaced the new AIW with the old one and the same error
occurs.

Nevermind. I installed Pinnacle Studio 8 and everything works fine.
