AT AIW 9600 and Pinnacle

I bought AIW 9600 with bundled Piinacle Studio 8. I have Athlon 1 GHZ,
500 MB of RAM and win 98. Everything worked fine, except for Pinnacle.
I've got an error during the installation "required dll olleacc.dll is
missing." The program didn't work. I ununstalled and re-installed it
again, but it still refused to work. ATI support pointed to Pinnacle,
and Pinnacle support gave a canned reply.

I downloaded the trail version of Pinnacle studio 9. It worked fine,
except for capture. In capture, it selected ATI Rage Theater Video
Capture for capture device, but I couldn't capture anything from
either composite (VCR) or tuner (TV). I could hear the sound for a
second, and the capture would stop. I can capture video through ATI TV
(both composite and tuner).

I like the Pinnacle capture better because it offers adjustements (if
it worked).

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Mark

Sounds like you have Win98 First Edition - this used to happen with a number
of programes including Encarta. Look at

and try their fix. HTH, Shaun

Shaun,

Your suggestion worked. Thank you.

Now, I can't capture anything using Pinnacle. I select composite or tuner,
but get "capture error." I can hear the sound for a second before that.
If I capture through ATI TV, it works. Any ideas?

Thank you,

Mark
