I accidentally saved a tv capture in ATI .vcr format. How can I convert it
to avi or mpeg? TMPGEnc, Canopus ProCoder and Pinnacle Studio won't read
it. I dug out an old disk of MGI VideoWave bundled with the ATI AIW card
and it won't accept it either.

MMC's Library function should offer to convert it to a more useful format -
probably buried in a right click menu somewhere?

Yeah, you can convert to DivX (MPEG-4) or SVCD (MPEG-2) with the later
versions of MMC.
