VF-Entry ID Printing on Sent Emails

A

Adam Lydiate

Hi,

Got a strange problem, on on e of our comapny PC's
somebody needs to print out her sent items in Outlook
2002, however every one she prints has a Line inserted
under subject called VF-Entry-ID then a long string of
numbers and letters. This line is not visible on the email
itself and only shows once you print it. Can't find
information anywhere on what it is or how to get rid of it
so any information would be gratefully received!

Thanks

Sounds like a custom property that's been added to the item, perhaps by an
addin that you have installed.

That's worrying as our users don't have sufficient admin
rights to install updates or software and nobody in IT has
done it, but if you can at least confirm that it's not an
official Outlook function then that's all I need to
justify reinstalling Outlook.

Many thanks for your reply!

Reinstalling Outlook probably won't have any effect if there's an external
program or COM add-in adding this information.
