Very, very, very slow GPO software installation

I've created three different software installation GPOs that are assigned to
a test computer. All three are MSI installations. All installations start
and eventually finish, but it takes 30-60 minutes per installation.
Installing off of a network share takes about 1 minute per installation.
Network connections are 100 MB switched on both ends. I can see the files
already installed (by connecting from a different computer) about a minute
after the GPO installation begins, but the installation dialog window stays
up for another 30-60 minutes. Is there a setting I'm missing, or is this
normal?

Hello Tom,

I have seen an issue such as this where the programs were configured to
uninstall and then install themselves somehow. I would definelt ypost this
to MSI or an Application Publishing group if you have not already.
