Vertical Break?

I was trying to insert a vertical line-break in a page in order to put my
menus and layers but it seems all I can find is info. on how to insert a
horizontal break. I want to avoid frames since I can't get the layer
behaviors to work between frame pages.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by vertical line break, but have you
looked at tables? That's the only way to break up real-estate in the page
into distinct vertical groups, though it does box you in a tad they are
usually the most powerful way of seperating content.

It sounds like the OP is looking for a vertical <hr> effect. I usually
achieve that by applying a border to a page element using CSS.
