Version Expires

Using the AntiSpyware I noticed the message center said
the version would expire in 158 days. So I went through
the help files and found link from there to update the
software. I did this and am running:
Microsoft AntiSpyware Version: 1.0.509
This version expires on: 7/31/2005
Spyware Definition Version: 5691 (2/20/2005 12:12:08 PM)

So if there is no update available what will happen in 158
days and will the update portion of the software update to
a newer version? I do check for updates all the time and
it did not update the software only the definitions. I
had to update the software manually. Is this something
thats being worked on?

You will need to download the final version of the product before (or
after!) the beta expires.

If they are unlikely to complete the project before the deadline, it is
likely that a new version with a different deadline will be distributed.
