Logging off my Windows 2000 user account takes more than a
minute. OH.EXE shows open handles to my UsrClass.dat and
UsrClass.dat.LOG files after I log off (the System Idle
Process has them). The event log gets the error: "Windows
cannot unload your registry class file. If you have a
roaming profile, your settings are not replicated..." and
so on. If I reboot, the problem goes away for an hour, or
a day, or a few minutes...
Not KB 319909: I'm running W2K SP4, the IPSec Policy
Agent is running, and anyway it's not LSASS that has the
open handles.
Not KB 827825: I don't know what Terminal Services are,
but I'm pretty darn sure I'm not running them (or logging
off of them).
Anybody have any ideas? TIA.
