Using XP Home and XP pro on the same network

Hi all, i've done a search but haven't found the answer to the question.

I have a network of 3 pc's, 1 of which is xp home and the others XP Pro, all
are fully patched up to date.

On the XP Home machine when I try and enable the Microsoft Client for
Networking and File/Print Sharing in the LAN Connection properties I get a
message that my selection will disable Microsoft Client for Networking and
File/Print Sharing !!!!! and I can't enable them.

Am I being totally stupid and missing something very obvious.

Any pointers or help would be gratfully received,

thanking you all in advance.

Mixing XP Home and Pro is simple enough, if you set it up right. Try running
the Network Setup Wizard, and see if that sorts your problem.

If you get an error when running NSW, look in Event Viewer and see if there are
any details. Copy and paste exact text of any error message seen, including
Event Viewer, here.
