using two of the same programs at once

im trying to plac two programs of DAoC but when i conect the second one it
makes the first one go link dead of the internet how do i fix this i would
like to use both my characters at once...(vista)

ALSO i have to alt tab between them this might be what makes me go link dead
if there is a whay to fix that alt tab problem...
