Using Remote Desktop and Netmeeting

Guest

When I work from home I log into my work laptop (located 20 miles away) with
my home computer using the Remote Desktop application in Windows XP. I often
need to host meetings, so I launch Netmeeting on my laptop but the option to
share an application is grayed out when I'm logged in with Remote Desktop.
Is this by design and is their any way around it?

Thanks,
Ron

That appears to be by design. It works the same for me on my XP Pro boxes...

AIUI Netmeeting application sharing and RDP use the same technology
and they are probably conflicting. You may be able to use Netmeeting
directly. Maybe VNC could be an option for you?
