Using a distribution group to send 'from'

Exchange 2k3 - AD - Outlook2k3

What Im tryiing to do is allow two users to send an email from a group that
they belong to and not have their originating email show.

For example, (e-mail address removed) and (e-mail address removed). Both of them belong to
the 'Company Press' distribution group that I just created in AD. When they
create a new email in Outlook, can they use 'Company Press' in the 'from'
field? The recipients will see 'Company Press' as a sender but when they
reply, it will go to which ever users sent the email. I did not create
anemail address for 'Company Press'.

Does that make sense?

You can specify the DL in the From field (give the user Send As permissions
on the object in AD U&C. The sender can specify the reply address in the
message options while composing.

Thats just it, I cant add the distribution group to the 'from' field because
it isnt listed in the global address book. And where do I specify the 'send
as' permission?

"I cant add the distribution group to the 'from' field because it isnt
listed in the global address book"
It will after about 24 hours or whatever your maintenance schema of Exchange
is.

Send As can be set on the Security tab of the object.
