Email to distribution group - Clarification

Hi ,

I have a Exchange 2003 Enterprise Server running on Windows 2003 R2 SP2 .We
recently migrated from Lotus Notes R5. I have few distribution groups. When
a user sends a email to a distribution group in which, the sender is one of
the members, The sender also receives a copy of the email.But in Lotus
Notes, the sender will not be copied, even if the sender is a member of the
dist group.

Can you please enlighten me on the facts pertaining to excliuding the sender
of the email to dist group , if he is a member of the same group?

You are correct. Outlook will send it to the entire list.

You could make a Rule to say if it's from me and sent to the DL, then delete
it.

Or when you send the email, expand the DL and remove your name from it.
