Users have multiple redundant drives mapped

I have two users. One has a Windows 2000 Pro PC and the other an XP Pro PC.
They both work in the same department. Their PCs are mapping more drives
than we have (up to 26). This mapping issue is causing their applications
to start slower. When a user unmaps a drive, the application starts faster,
but sooner or later, the drives remap themselves.

Any ideas on how to have only legitimate drives be mapped?

Thanks,

John

The most common cause of this is FindFast (from Office 2000 and prior).
Check for that.

Seems to have worked!

You're most welcome.
Might be time to do a mass rollout of Office 2003, if you haven't considered
this already....much better, and currently supported.
