Username and password not valid?

I keep getting an error 691 message when trying to connect to my dial-up ISP
using Windows XP. The username and password are not incorrect. Retyping the
username and password doesn't work, neither does recreating the connection.
If I keep redialing, eventually the username and password will be accepted,
but it can take many tries. I don't have problems with this account on any
other computer. Any ideas? Thanks.

Make sure that the caps lock key is off. I make this mistake every now and
then.

Another reason is that your keyboard is ready for the trash bin.
