Hello folks,
Can anyone please spare some time to fix my following problem?
==============================================
RTHDCPL.EXE- Illegal System DLL Relocation

The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run
properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL
C:\Windows\system32\HHCTRL.OCX
occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs.The vendor
supplying
the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

JLS OBSERVES:
I too am getting that error message. It reads "The system DLL user 32.dll
was recreated in memory. The application will not run properly. The
relocation occurred because the DLLC:\WINDOWS\system 32\HHCTRL.OCX occuplied
an address range reserved for windows ststem DLLS. The vendor supplying the
DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

My query: Who is the vendor, and can I contact him/her on line?
My machine is a new Sony Vaio, which had Windows XP already installed. All
help appreciated.

Thanks. The error message no longer occurs. I suppose I downloaded a relevant
update in response to the link kindly provided. BUT
1. I do not know why
2. I do not know what "dll" stands for.
Can anyone answer the second question, please. I'm not a computer buff or
geek. I just use a computer for my work. Thanks
