We have a situation happening us right now in the network very weard.

Right we have a win2000 Pro running full updated up today, we installed on
it the macromedia flash 8 plug-in logged as local admin user, after the
installation the flash player works great.

However when any other regular user (Non-admin rights) try to load any web
page that required the flash plug-in to work. The page is displayed but the
place where the flash animation reside does not show up, the the flash
plug--in does not work, as it worked logged as local admin right.

Then we gave admin rights to the regular user... guess what ? It does work
fine ...
the same page we tried before now works fine without flash problems...

IE Security Settings or any misconfiguration>?
Thanks any comments to find a solution to this issue.

Hi Misaro,

Check the Administrator approved controls setting for Shockwave Flash in
gpedit.msc.

Run>gpedit.msc>User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Internet
Explorer\Administrator Approved Controls

Regards.

Hi, Soory I responsed back unitl now

OK I follow the path you gave me but what does is your recommendation:

To enable the option?

At this moment we have others users with access to the flash player 8 as
regular user (Non-Admin) rights without touch this option.

Thanks comments
