I have a staff left the company and I created a new account for the new
staff for local logon and domain logon. The files created by the old staff
now become read-only. Can someone advise me how to allow the new staff to
edit the files created by the old staff after I delete the old user account.

Thanks,

Scott

Try taking ownership of the files and resetting the NTFS permissions....

Lanwench,

Thanks for your useful advice. What about the change in computer name? I
tried to change it in System applet without success.

Thanks,

Scott
