User Profile problem

I have several Win XP and 2000 machines on a 2003 domain. I configured a user
profile on each machine and then copied it to the Default profile for anyone
that logs on. I have one machine that must have had outlook configured before
we copied the profile. Now anyone that logs into that machine gets the same
outlook profile. Instead of creating a new PST file for each user it reads
the original PST file out of the original user profile.

Hmmmm.... I didn't think personal settings got copied across. Can anyone
help me correct this.

thanks - in advanced!

Delete the contents of the Identities folder in the User_Profile
folder\Local Configuration\Program Data\Identities.
You may have to make the Local Configuration folder viewable
in Tools\Folder Options (or Settings)\View\check on
Show all hidden files and folders.
The Identities folder contains all the data which make up those
Outlook Express mail folders belonging to each user account and
should be re-created new and empty after the next logon.

Also this key for the current user hive contains the information
for the user account and coud do the same job.
Start\Run\regedit\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities

Probably one or the other and maybe both methods may be
necessary to do the job.. after you've done this, turn off the
computer and wait a minute to restart it and allow a reasonable
time period for the new configuration to be created.
Possibly doing this in the default user profile could do the job.

Regards.
