User Logon Scripts

I am having issues with user logon scripts not executing all of a sudden.
as far as I know, nothing has changed in the AD configuration. I can place
the logon script in the user profile and it runs fine when the user does not
have the Novell client on the machine. I placed the logon script in a Group
Policy for the users in that OU and it runs after the second logon. After a
reboot, the script does not run. This problem is very intermittent and I
cannot nail it down. We run KiXtart as the script processor and kix32 is in
my logon script also, but mine runs anywhere in the network, no matter
which machine I log onto. Does anyone have any info on this problem?

Thanks.

The latest version is compatable with 2k. The scripts
are located in the scripts directory. The users have no
issues with access to the scripts, once they are logged
in, you can run the script and it executes fine. On
first logon though, it acts as if the script isnt even
there. Also, we were using the Home Drive option in the
user profile, and it was working before these problems
arose, but not anymore.

do u use romaing profiles? any probs with them if you use
them, hmm not sure sounds like a network connectivty issue
maybe as the home drive doesnt execute either but then how
do u get autheitcated if you had network probs with the DC
strange have u check event viewer on the DC?

I thought it might be connectivity issues, but then ,
why does my script execute from anywhere and theirs
doesnt seem to run from anywhere.. No we don't use
roaming profiles though. I have checked the event viewer
and dont seem to see any authentication problems of any
kind. I will review them again though. We have a hoge
poge though, 1 NT BDC left, 2 2k DCs, and 1 2k3 DC. Have
you seen any interoperability issues between 2k and 2k3
DCs?
